Nilesh ki Bhel

One of the best street foods in Mumbai is bhel, and one of the best bhels in Mumbai is what Nilesh Patil makes. The customers at his stall would swear by the taste of vegetarian Chinese bhel which is the most sold item here. And if you are a fan of Manchurian style, you are here for a treat. Veg Manchurian bhel has fried dry noodles, veg Manchurian balls, Schezwan chutney, coriander leaves, and chopped cabbage. All this for just Rs 10!

Anda and Omelette Pav Centre

Deb’s Momo Hut

Deb came to Bombay with his son five years ago from Nepal and for the past four years has been selling momos to customers in Lower Parel. One can buy chicken, vegetable, and paneer momos from Deb for Rs 70, Rs 60, and Rs 70, respectively. You get Schezwan chutney and eight momos in a plate.

FDFS chaat

Whether it is samosa pav, vada pav, kachori, dabeli or even jalebi, you will get almost all your favourite chaat items here at FDFS stall. The stall has been around for the past five years, but funnily, nobody knows what FDFS means! Their samosa pav is a must try. And it is quite affordable too, at just Rs 13.

Mahesh’s Corn Chaat

The sweet and tangy corn chaat at this stall is worth a try even if you are not particularly fond of corn. That is because Mahesh adds his ‘magic masala’ before he serves you fresh and hot chaat. Ask him for a cheese masala corn which is the most popular among his customers, available at just Rs 40. There is also butter sweet corn, masala corn, and cheese sweet corn.

Haryana Gulab Jamun and Jalebi centre

Zaheer Khan, lovingly known as Khan sahib, has been selling gulab jamun and jalebi at this stall for the past five years. You can get two mouth watering gulab jamuns for just Rs 10 and 100 gm of jalebi for Rs 12.

Mahalaxmi Snacks Corner

Be it pizza, frankie, sandwich, or Chinese bhel, Vinod Param has his own method he fries the stuffing before filling the frankie, and then fries the whole frankie. And it reflects in the taste too! Heavily masala loaded paneer frankie is a must have. It is a treat to watch your frankie or  sandwich being made by Vinod.

Ghanshyam Soni’s Aloo parantha and Chole bhature

Ghanshyam Soni’s aloo parantha in Lower Parel is no less than what you will get in Delhi.  And if you are not a big fan of aloo parantha, then order a plate of chole bhature which will definitely surprise you with the typical Punjabi tasting chole and crispy bhature. Not just that, you get onion, pickle, and tomato mint chutney complimentary with both the meals, for just Rs 20.
